Beschrijving

Deze vaste plant van de nachtschadefamilie komt oorspronkelijk uit het Middelandse Zeegebied en  bloeit van september tot november met violet kleurige bloemen.

Alruin wordt 25 cm hoog.

Alle plantendelen bevatten hallucinogene tropaanalkaloiden.

Alruin is een heksenkruid, medicinaal & giftig.

Zaai bij max. 5ºC. Alruin kiemt onregelmatig, in enkele maanden.

In de herfst sterft de plant bovengronds af. De wortels overleven de winter en gaan in het voorjaar opnieuw uitlopen.

In een zadenzakje zitten 3 zaden.
